These classes are offered for
the first time handler as well as
the experienced.  Handlers will
have the opportunity to
experience the ring atmosphere
and be judged for
conformation, while improving
on their handling abilities.  
Expert advice and training is
provided.  Each class enables
you to work with your dog,
which will ultimately result in
better preparation for the
challenge of the breed ring.  
Special attention is given to the
Junior Handler.
Beginner Agility
6 sessions $75.00
This course is designed to
provide an introduction to
the dog sport of agility.  
Dogs and handlers are
taught the proper and safe
way to perform each
obstacle.  Basic obedience
is required for this course.

AKC S.T.AR.
Puppy Kindergarten
6 sessions  $100.00
(Up to 6 months)
If you are having trouble housebreaking your
puppy or dealing with problem behaviors like
biting, chewing, jumping up or barking , this
weekly class can help both of you get back
on the right track.  We teach behavior
modification techniques, leash training, sit,
stay, and recall commands.  We stress the  
all important leadership role in the
canine-human relations.  We discuss
nutrition, health care, and grooming.   This
class provides important socialization for
each puppy.  This class emphasizes
participation by the whole family, especially
children.  Upon completion you will be able
to register your puppy as an AKC STAR.  All
dogs are eligible purebred and mixed.

Beginner Obedience  
6 sessions $140.00
(5 months and older)
This structured course focuses on
leadership training and is a thorough
introduction to the progressive method of
obedience training.  Instruction is aimed at
the owners, who are taught how to teach
their dogs.  The course covers the basic
obedience exercises heel, sit, stay, stand,
and the recall.  Everything needed to have a
well mannered dog.  Individual problems are
dealt with when they arise.

Advanced Beginners
With the Canine Good Citizen
test.
6 sessions $75.00
This course is provided as a follow up to the
beginners course.  In this class handlers are
offered an opportunity to refine the basic
skills and build new ones.  Dogs begin to
master the obedience commands and
demonstrate reliability and consistency .
The CGC is offered when the dogs are
proficient in the skills to pass the test.  All
dogs are eligible purebred and mixes.

Open and Utility
6 sessions $75.00
This course includes off-leash heeling,
recalls, sits and downs, as well as the
retrieve, jumping and all the necessary
exercises required for obedience
competition.  The handlers' skills are brought
up to competitive levels.
Obedience class doing long sits
                     K9 Nose Work                 
 
K9 Nose work, the new detection-style sport is designed to develop a
dogs natural scenting abilities by using their curiosity, desire to hunt
and their love of toys and food.  It's a great way for any dog to have
fun, build their confidence.  They burn lots of mental and physical
energy, doing what they do best. Sniffing!
About the classes:
Class is limited to 6 dog/handler teams
Each dog will be worked individually multiple times during class
Dogs will need to be crated or kept in the car between working
Who can participate?
Dogs 6 months and up
Dogs with physical limitations ( as long as they are mobile and have a
nose)
Dogs with fear or dog aggression issues can participate too! Only one
dog works at a time.
Dogs with people aggression cannot participate!
